You have been dating for a year and a half before he decided it was time to meet his family. He wanted to make sure you two were serious about your relationship. You agreed with him wholeheartedly, knowing you would have wanted to make sure you would last.
Jin and you set out for his parents early in the morning when he had a week off. You two arrived around their home at about 5pm. Jin used his key to let you in, carrying both of your suitcases. Looking around the hallway, you noticed all the family pictures they had hung up.
Returning from placing your bags by the stairs, Jin grabbed your small hand in his larger one, “Come on love, it’s time to meet them.”
You gulped hard and tightly held onto his hand as he led the way. As you were walking, the smell emitting from the kitchen had your mouth watering. When the both of you walked in his mother turned around from the stove and greeted you, “Jin dear! I’m so glad you two could make it!”
She put the spoon she was holding down and walked over giving you a hug, “It’s so nice to finally meet you.”
